Credit Card Information Security
The privacy and security of our donors’ data are critical to YWCA. In choosing an appropriate database and donation system, YWCA paid particular attention to securing donor financial information to ensure that we offer the highest level of protection to our donors. When our donation form asks donors to enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted and protected. YWCA’s donation system employs a Server Digital Certificate and the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Protocol to encrypt all data traffic. SSL technology is the standard used by online banking, stock brokerages, and retailers for securing their online transactions.
