YWCA does not share any information collected on this site. Our donation/registration forms may require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, address and similar information. We will use personal information collected from you to send you information, such as newsletters, fundraising opportunities and information on our programs. If you elect not to receive such materials, we will not send them to you. Donors can indicate if they prefer to keep their donations anonymous. YWCA does not rent, sell or share our lists. In the event that this should this change, YWCA will respect all requests on the part of donors not to share their information. In choosing an appropriate database and donation system, YWCA paid particular attention to securing donor financial information to ensure that we offer the highest level of protection to our donors. When our donation form asks donors to enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted and protected. YWCA’s donation system employs a Server Digital Certificate and the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Protocol to encrypt all data traffic. SSL technology is the standard used by online banking, stock brokerages, and retailers for securing their online transactions.
