Our Supervised Visitation Services

Supervised Visitation Services

Supervised Visitation Services, also known as "Monitored Visitations", are being offered at the YWCA in downtown San Jose. The YWCA of Silicon Valley is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for Court-Ordered supervised visitations and exchanges while assisting families by supporting parents' interaction with children at a difficult time.

The focus of the Supervised Visitation and Exchange Program is to provide non-custodial parents and their children a neutral space to reconnect and to create new memories. In September of 2009, the program was the beneficiary of a complete renovation of four of the visitation spaces. Thanks to the hard work and generosity of the San Jose Rotary Red Badge Team, the spaces were transformed into four unique theme centered rooms that are cheerful, inviting and conducive to activity and conversation. Parents and their children play together, eat together and even do homework together in a safe, monitored environment; and in so doing, begin rebuilding a stronger, healthier relationship.
