Honor a Special Woman—Who Has Been Special to You?

Special women are all around us. They can be a mother, a step-mom, an expectant mother, a grandmother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a co-worker, a teacher, a neighbor, a partner, a mentor, or a friend. Someone who has taught you, been there for you, and loved you. "Honor a Special Woman" enables you to honor the special women who have played an important role in your life while helping others.

To make a donation to honor or memorialize a woman who has been special to you, you can use the secure donation form, check the box for Honor a Special Woman. You can also donate by calling us at (408) 295-4011 ext. 217.

No amount is too small or too large to say "Thank you!" The YWCA will send a letter to the woman or women you are honoring telling them you have recognized them by supporting the programs and services provided by the YWCA of Silicon Valley. If this is a memorial tribute, a letter will be sent to the family if you so desire. Their names will be added to those honored previously with a listing on our website. In addition, depending on your giving level, your honoree will receive a framed certificate of appreciation as a keepsake of your generosity.
